NCCX #5. I raced two races again today, first went well and I finished in a higher percentage wise than I have all season (still mid-pack) and the second one... well there was a lot of climbing and I felt it. It was a challenging course, the Wilkesboro crew did good and the race director was funny as heck. I learned after two all out races, I can not drink half a cup of Boone Winter Ale... I guess I was dehydrated, it was a long drive home.

NC Cyclocross race number something... it blurs together now! I even forgot I did this race last year till I drove up the driveway, it is a fun and challenging course. Sam even caught my wreck (sometimes I forget my brain and my technical abilities don't always agree) It was still great fun!

Today was racing in Raleigh, my third race in 25 hours. I had a good start and felt strong most of the race.... still a mid-pack finish.

My view of the races from the back of the Turtle. Today I raced two races, my first race started really bad as I jumped back on after the firs remount, my saddle tilted up so I couldn't jump on or sit and pedal. No problem, I have a second race today... I had a better race but was tired from the first one, mid-pack.
