Lucky day! For the first time I can remember, a group ride goes down. This was the worst of the road rash. One rider went off the road and fell back into the road, Kay immediately goes down as her front wheel was taken out, I am hard on the brakes till I T-Bone Kay in the back sending me over the handlebars, I land on my feet on someone's front wheel, take two steps before I duck into a somersault and off the road. Kay hurt her shoulder, but didn't appear to break anything. Several pieces of clothing ripped up, some bent bike equipment and some raspberries, but we were lucky. Funny part, none of us brought our cellphones....

Country Park in Greensboro has several of these berms for carving through. I never seem to be gutsy enough to carry a full head of steam into them, today I was glad I didn't.
