Another day, more FS road driving, we passed by Max Patch again and we took the longer hike up along the AT before making camp right on a creek. We camped the night before next to a creek too, but this was my view out the back of the truck.

Looks like a great trip. How are the mosquitoes that close to the water?
Dan, We had no problems there, the water was running pretty fast. We both picked up a few bites, but I think they are from the hikes.
