TNUA - Tuesday Night Urban Assault, a weekly ride in Rochester in the winter. The snow was so deep, parts required me to get off and walk!

Yeah, finally got out to cross country ski after not getting to all last winter. The trees and bushes along the trail are still weighed down by ice and I had to crawl through some spots. Great fun!

Salt on the Taco, I hate this region's dependence on salt and what it does. I spent $2100 on teh 4Runner today to fix (preventative maintance) problems, over half of it caused by salt induced rust. This included rust AT lines and raditor, exhaust from the Cat back, e-brake and sway bar mountings. The pure preventative maintance was less than $1000, timing belt, fluid change on the AT and Difs. The truck is 9 years old, it better go 10 more!!!

Great afternoon. Got out of work a little early (since I had no lunch break) and rode into a wonderful winter sunset. Then tonight Steph swam in her first official swim meet, 2 events, 50 yard freestyle and the 200 freestyle relay, both went well and she had fun! I am very proud of her and her efforts!

We got a little snow. This Dec was the lowest snow amount since 1940 - only 4.3 inches when we should have 21.9 inches.
