Salt on the Taco, I hate this region's dependence on salt and what it does. I spent $2100 on teh 4Runner today to fix (preventative maintance) problems, over half of it caused by salt induced rust. This included rust AT lines and raditor, exhaust from the Cat back, e-brake and sway bar mountings. The pure preventative maintance was less than $1000, timing belt, fluid change on the AT and Difs. The truck is 9 years old, it better go 10 more!!!
