Life is Good. Raced a cyclocross race in the morning (no pix, I went alone) but the course was fun and technical. Finished 26 of 29 but only 2 minutes from 23....
Sam and I spent the afternoon at the zoo for Zoo Boo, trick or treating in the... you guess it, zoo. Sam took the polar bear picture!

Tim and I visited the Trek Demo Days at the Dryer Rd. Park trails. There is no better feeling than crashing somebody else's $6,000 carbon fiber bike (I am OK, but Tim fell more than I did)We also tried the road bikes, some with the new $2,000 electric shifters but we didn't crash those ; )

First TNUA of the year. Over 60 riders spend two plus hours on the Tuesday Night Urban Assault ride.

My first cyclocross race in about 15 years. I finished top 20.... ok I finished 16 of 18 finishers, but I was racing guys that race expert mtn bike and Cat 2-3 on the road... I was happy. Top two are my POD and bottom 2 are Deb's of me.

Inner city bike giveaway. A great organization R Community Bikes has fixed and given away over 5,000 bikes. This guy was a reminder to me how lucky I, and most all my friends, are. He just got "off the boat" to the US 10 days ago from a refugee camp in Nepal. Doesn't have a dime to his name, doesn't speak English and knows no one, forgetting the immigration issue, I can not imagine what that would be like...
