Deb watches her Zoetrope spin and a moth sucks up pollen as Deb, Sam and I visited the George Eastman House today since the Ansel Adams show is coming down soon.
Last, I made it a solo hike/jog on the upper trail around the park. We are home... 6 days of camping in 3 different parks, 1,100 miles of driving, visiting 3 colleges is a lot like a Chevy Chase movie...
Day 5 - Deb, Sam and I hiked to the base of the 215 foot water fall in Taughannock Falls State Park, the dry summer made it a very tall but small waterfall, but the walk was great. For the second night in a row we spied a fox hunting along the road.
Day 4 - Great campsite right on the lake in Ohio. Sam and I started the day with a hike. We saw a bald eagle fishing right in front of us. College two, Kent State with a one on one tour. And finishing with a start mountain bike ride through some great single track.
Day 2 - Marineland in Canada. Great day, showers cooled off the afternoon, and soaked our sleeping bags since we left off the rain flys from our tents. Another trip to Wal-Mart (20 mins each way) for CHEAP sleeping bags.
Our trip starts off with a trip to .... wait for it.... Wal-Mart at sunset. No pump for our air mattresses (this ain't a viking trip) My attempt at a star trails photo was dashed by the clouds, but still a great night for the meteorite shower.
Spider web in the grass at sunset. *** Note to viewers - we are off on vacation in the morning for a week of camping. I may note have internet service in the "woods."
