Helped my friend Kevin pull this motor from a 1976 Jensen Interceptor. You have to love British engineering. The motor is a Chrysler 440, mounted on a round frame and then the body was welded around the motor/frame. To make it very stiff, none of the body paenls are removeable and the motor was mounted way back for better weight ratio. You can not even change the spark plugs without pulling the motor. As I said you have to love it. (ps there are only something like 700 of the Jensen convertables built)

Wrong, only 505 was built, only 200 left roadworthy, 130 left hand drives.

Your friend should keep it, prizes are rocketing, but nothing yet like the mopar cars with same engine. This car has the same engine as the mopars, but interior and comfort like a rolls royce....So a real treasure o have
