After work I installed (one side) my old running boards on a co-workers truck. As always, took twice as long as needed.

After dinner, we stopped by the "Art Barns" outside Cameron, NC - they are fading badly and will soon be gone I am sure. http://www.atlasobscura.com/places/cameron-barnstormer-murals

2nd annual Photography Department Pickle off. This year I had two judges to help me judge the rookie and master categories. After much debate, Kevin won for the second year in a row.

The wind at the beach blew so much salt water on the tent, I had to wash it when we got home, today was the first sunny day since then to dry it!

Ice cream from a giant strawberry. Still not as good as Kimballs - www.kimballfarm.com - (if you are ever heading through Massachusetts, this is a must do)
The day was eventful, we got early and packed up to beat the heat and rain, had breakfast at a beach dive breakfast place, were directly behind a 3 car accident, and had ice cream, all before the 5 hours of unpacking, cleaning, drying and repacking (although the rain came before I was ready to pack, so the basement is filled right now)

We had great wave action and some over 6 feet tall. Sam was on top a bunch of curls and I was even body surfing without the board till I got rolled under the water, somersaulted and deciding the board was better ; )

The view from my tent window and our set up. The wind was howling tonight, the ground tent was filled with sand, the Flippac - nice and clean. As always in this set up, I slept like a baby!
