Country Park in Greensboro has several of these berms for carving through. I never seem to be gutsy enough to carry a full head of steam into them, today I was glad I didn't.
The Clarks and I hit Uwharrie. I knew this trail had a couple of old still sites... We found this one, just a few metal drums, other odd metal bits and about a hundred glass jars.
The replacement frame for my broken Salsa Dos Niner, a used Surly Karate Monkey, a steel framed 29er... the cool part of the ride was through a controlled burn area in Uwharrie National Forest.
