My evening. Re-installing the Firestone Ride-Rite air bags on the Taco.

OK no more making you wait. Introducing the Adventure Trailer Flippac. I have been selling off toys left and right to fund the purchase of this used Flippac.
When I started my Taco build, this is what I wanted... but they are built on the west coast, are over $5k new plus shipping and I had never even seen one in person and then the trailer showed up.
I am hoping this is a blend of a VW Westfalia van, Land Rover Dormobile, and a daily driver with Toyota reliability. The stand up room inside is over 7 feet tall, almost a queen bed and it didn't hit the MPG too much at all.
Our first night in it was under 40 degrees, but we were comfortable (mattress is the best camping one yet) and I look forward to a lot of adventures in it!

End of the day. I am ready for the morning's first day of summer classes. Fun fact, by the end of 7 days of summer, the students will have photographed 5 assignments and labs. (or as I see it, damn, I already have a lot of grading to do.)

This was sad. Seeing my cap on another truck. The couple was cute and very excited to buy it. Still funding new toy with old toys! 1/4 of the way!

The start and the end of my day. The NYS Thruway heading towards Buffalo and Pilot Mountain in my mirror with the stupid "Check Engine" light reflection a mere 13 hours later.

A visit to Nick Tahou's for a Garbage Plate with ex-coworkers and nearly knocked over by Victoria! It was great visiting with old friends and chatting about the exciting doings at the Democrat and Chronicle! That night we visited the Oz family, pizza and game night!

I (the college) was able to buy a couple of GoPro cameras for my multimedia class and I am now trying to figure them out. This is a time lapse of my hour ride, I was thinking it would be cooler with all the steep climbs..... nope.

I found this turtle on my trail, and Spitz checked it, 3 days later, the turtle hasn't moved. I know it's alive since when I picked it up, it squeezed tightly shut.
