I shot two football games today in the pouring rain. The night game was on turf, but I really wanted a classic muddy, wet, football photo from the day game.... don't think I got it.

More class 6 roads, lots of rocks and water holes. Ended the day at the coast. Hampton Beach.

Oct. 18, 2008

Great day of traveling. Great color, covered bridges, and fun trails. Dragged the Taco through the toughest trails yet, including hitting one "impassable" class 6 road. I didn't make it... just needed more height... and armor ; )

Oct. 17, 2008 - Mt. Washington

By 2:45pm we made it to Mt. Washington. Up into the clouds we headed. The top was clear and the views were great. It was 57 degrees at the base and 4 degrees at the top with wind chill and wind gusts in the past 24 hours of 74 mph.

Staring from the Canadian border, the group, TransNH, starts south heading for the beach. The plan is to drive as many class 6 (think old, unmaintained, OK really just trials) roads and see "the real" New Hampshire. Today we crossed the 45th parallel several times. The 45th is half way from the equator to the North Pole.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Mark Twain

See you next week.

Wow , 4 days back from the mountains and already back in a funk! Didn't shoot anything for myself, so this is my model during a shoot for a health supplement we print.

First TNUA of the year. Tuesday Night Urban Assault. Basically a bunch of idiots riding mtn bikes through the winter months in downtown Rochester. We had 71 riders start tonight, rode up to the lake on trails, then bombed back downtown on city streets finishing after 9pm and over 25 miles.
