A chance to ride in sunny North Carolina. My "sick" buddy had tights, skull cap, jacket and toe booties. I did borrow a long sleeve jersey for the 58 degree ride.

Start of Spring Break. Drove through 10 hours of come and go white out snow. This is in southern West Virginia. Also picked up the cap seen on the back of the truck in Pittsburg.

I kept hitting my head on this as I packed the truck tonight. Then I realized what it is... dreaming of our trip to the Carolinas, sun, warmth and long bike rides ;)

Wow, 41. Sign is from my new favorite BBQ place (thanks for lunch Shawn) mustard sauce, sweet tea and collards. Sam seems to be making sure I don't spit on the cake. Everyone asked me... Doing anything special for your birthday? I did: swam 41 lengths of the pool, ran 4.1 miles and biked on the wind trainer for 41 minutes.

Tea at an Anglophile group meeting. Jumped back into training with 1.5 feet ; )
6.47 hours: 13.65 miles running, 58.7 miles cycling, 2100 yards swimming. 112 days to go (and the number of miles to bike in an Ironman)
