Sunday. This was a long day! The day started early with the Rally's Trophy competition. The events included, personal preparation, vehicle knowledge, orienteering, a driving course and self recovery. The really cool part? I won the whole thing! My prizes included a set of Maxtrax (see below) and a pair of Mountain Khaki pants. After lunch I went for a short hike along the Linville River before biking the Blue Ridge Parkway and then hiking the Linville Gorge to see the falls.
