What a frustrating day! I spend way too long unsuccessfully learning a file format from a video camera (damn .mts files) that I have to give a lecture on to design school students, then it was confirmed my dad has stage 4 lung cancer, so to clear my head I went the Uwharrie National Forest to mtn bike... bad signage or no markings and un-ridable trails made the evening like the rest of the day....

That is a beautiful stream, peaceful, but only a fleeting respite I fear...hope we can find that spot again.
